Another new feature of Moodle 2.6 is the ability to create courses in bulk using a csv file. It just requires a few mandatory fields to be filled out (required fieldnames are shortname, fullname, and category), then you’re able to upload that csv file to your Moodle where courses will be created in the appropriate category. 1. Looks good, but can you also upload new categories using this feature, I’ve just upgraded to 2.6 on our production site and if I could add new courses and categories as a csv that would be awesome.
