A Steering Committee governs CLAMP. They oversee the operations, development and financial decisions of the collaboration. They have the final voice on direction, priorities and focus. They administer and maintain the funds, policy and the community tools. They are the responsible for coordinating efforts with Moodle HQ and the Moodle community at large.

Seven North American universities and colleges form this Committee, on a three-year rotation. These are four-year, residential, Liberal Arts institutions. The selection tries to be as geographically diverse as possible. Replacing Colgate University, the College of the Holy Cross, and Reed, we have:

  • Beloit, from the Eponymous City, Wisconsin
  • Centre, from Danville, Kentucky
  • Kenyon, in Gambier, Ohio

They join remaining members:

  • Connecticut
  • Lafayette
  • Occidental
  • Union

This setup of the Committee will remain until 2019.

CLAMP is an ongoing effort to collaborate and develop Moodle-centered tools catering to Liberal Arts. Their main ongoing collaboration is LAE, a Liberal Arts flavored Moodle. 33 universities and colleges are currently CLAMP’s participating institutions.

Other activities CLAMP provides to the moodleverse include Hack/Doc Fests, development workshops, git and ruby workshops. Their work is in storage on the CLAMP Moodle Exchange, a Moodle installation with content and forums.
