Moodlerooms Lead Developer, Kris Stokking, released several updates to Moodlerooms contributed plugins this past week, in addition to an updated version of the Moodlerooms Framework for Plugins which “offers enhanced functionality for Moodle plugin development. It is required by several of the plugins that have been open sourced by Moodlerooms.” To read more documentation on the local plugin visit http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodlerooms_Framework.

For a full list of the updated plugins from Moodlerooms visit https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=contributor&id=669060 (plugins include Advanced Forums and Flexpage theme, format, activity and block among others).

The documentation explains many of the features, benefits, drawbacks and provides “some of the reasoning behind the design of the major components of the framework” (docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodlerooms_Framework#Framework_Design_Patterns).
