Here are a few organizations and schools which made the news by either going Moodle or via their Moodle usage.

  • University of Alberta, Alberta, Canada [article]: The University is considering phasing out their eClass system to embrace Moodle more fully.  At least one benefit would be a streamlining of tech services (one less service for students to login to).
  • Colorado Theological Seminary, Lake Helen, Florida, USA [press release]: The CTS is unveiling their new Moodle installation which will support and facilitate the seminary’s Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Biblical Studies programs online.
  • Charity Learning Consortium, North Woodchester, UK [article]: CLC utilizes Moodle to deliver over “150 online training courses covering IT skills, ‘soft skills’, personal development, leadership and management, and workplace legislation” to its consortium members.
