This is the (next to last) final post for MoodleNews for 2015 and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every Moodler out there who has helped to make this site a success – by using the information, commenting on our posts and participating in our community. 2015 was our best year ever and we are very much looking forward to an even better 2016.
We’re going to be taking a break until the new year, but we’ll be back with all the latest and greatest Moodle news on January 4th, 2016. When we do return, you’ll notice a few changes in the site that we hope will make your experience even better. These include:
- New site layout: we’ve recently upgraded our site to ensure responsiveness and accessibility across all devices. This upgrade will also include a slight redesign to our homepage and post pages. Please do let us know what you think!
- Post categories: we will also be re-categorizing our posts to fall under four sections that better reflect the Moodleverse: Community, Governance, Practice and Technology. These sections all have several subsections and I’ve given a description of each of these new categories on our About page here.
- Advertisements: As you know, MoodleNews is a privately run service and we do use advertising as our way of supporting our ongoing efforts. You’ll see our advertisement placements change in January and we encourage you to check out those companies that support us!
Happy Holidays and New Year!
