First of all let us all congratulate Michael de Raadt for his new position as Head of Ed Tech at Canberra Grammar School and wish him all the best for his next assignment.
Michael has developed a new block which is similar to the progress bar block but works entirely on completion setting called ‘Completion Progress’. Michael is seeking community feedback for testing out the new block and submit your feedback about the working of the block.
The block is compatible for all Moodle 2.7+ sites and beyond and can be downloaded from this link for testing purpose. Please note that this is very early version of the block and is meant for testing purpose only and shouldn’t be used on production sites in any case.

Tracking Student Progress through Progress Bar Block

The completion progress block works out of the box without any hassles, all you need to make sure to enable is the “Completion Tracking” in the Advanced Features. The new block will be more efficient and no compatibility problems as it was there with the Progress Bar.
I will also test the new block on my development sites and will post the updates in upcoming days. In the mean time you can also test the new block and share your feedback with Michael in this forum post or in the comments below.
