As the run up to the release of Moodle 3.1 heats up (92% of QA tests have been passed as of this post), the Moodle HQ team has announced the release of the beta version of Moodle 3.1. Click here to download the beta now.
The beta version of Moodle contains all of the features that will be available in Moodle 3.1. The goal with releasing a beta is to give developers a head start on the process of updating their plugins and services for the new version and as an ask for anyone out there with some spare time and resources to test the new version against the existing data/set up at their institutions. Of course, this should be done strictly in a development environment. Any errors found should be reported to Moodle via the tracker so that the HQ team can look into it before release.
