Updated on October 14, 2020. eCreators is no longer a Moodle Partner.

It’s been a steady stride forward for eCreators, the leading Australian elearning company, creator of the Learnbook Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and 2019’s Global Moodle Partner of the Year.

In the past month, key announcements and strategic partnerships have lunged the company into prominence. With a message of social connection despite the protection only social distancing can offer us right now, Dean Saunders and Co. continue to spread their values and support elearning objectives around the globe.

According to Moodle’s Kinga Pilarek, “A socially responsible organisation that believes education is one of the largest barriers to social inclusion, eCreators make platforms that are easy to use for learners and carefully curated digital content that is easily absorbed, providing learners with the tools needed to achieve change in their lives.”

Cali-based Fortech, to deliver ‘coveted’ Learnbook

Elearning “agnostic” Fortech, up-and-coming provider of solutions based in Castro Valley, California, has become the latest eCreators partner, certified to deliver the Learnbook experience to U.S. organizations.

Government agencies, corporations, universities and other education institutions already enjoy Fortech’s services. Despite the distance, eCreators already had an undisclosed number of customers in North America. It appears that Fortech will provide support to eCreators U.S. customers too. “It’s a huge bonus to them and us to have expertise on the ground,” declared Saunders.

Focused on “unique, engaging online learning experiences,” Fortech provides elearning solutions to organizations of all sizes, often in conjunction with educational and technological partners. It specializes in project development, support and workflow.

3 million user milestone

eCreators also announced, via video, some of its milestones:

  • 500 client organizations
  • 3 million users in total
  • 29 countries

Friends of the little guy

Even companies based in open source software can be the subject of doubt from small companies, once they “hit it big.” And as one of the largest Moodle Partners ever, eCreators could feel out of touch by SMEs, who despite their scale still face important training, onboarding and upskilling challenges.

Ash Kammerhofer, Senior Account Manager, wants to set the record straight. “We believe that every organisation, regardless of its size, could use a learning management system.”

Despite its convenience, having a properly set up elearning environment can be an onerous proposition. How can smaller teams work it out? Kammerhofer’s recipe focuses on smart choices that deliver value over the long run, and an environment that provides as many benefits and roles packed into one system. A simple Learnbook LXP instance, for example, can simultaneously represent:

  • A productivity-based upskilling experience,
  • A way to ensure compliance on a regular basis,
  • A a way to cut down on inessential costs,
  • A way to quantify learning behavior, achievement and performance.

Openness should not conflict with pleasant, or even hedonistic learning experiences. This has been a key insight in the process of evolving as a company, as well as personally for Saunders. A growing interest in human connection has spearheaded his business decisions and personal quests as of late, keen to spend more time with customers to figure out their needs, as well as those of his team and their communities.

…and the upcoming MountainMoot Online 2020

One of the most special open elearning conferences out there, the annual Helena gathering of open source enthusiast has moved online. And thanks to sponsors like eThink Education, Urkund, My Learning Consultants and eCreators, the quirkiest MoodleMoot is now free and open.

Topics the “Moot” will cover include Moodle, of course, but also Google Classroom and General EdTech; Online Engagement, Videoconferencing, Asynchronous Teaching and Continuity Planning.

MountainMoot — 10th Anniversary Celebration kicks off July 15.
