I like discovering how people use Moodle in ways other than the traditional teacher/student interaction. It not only gives a glimpse into individual creativity, but also underlines just how versatile a platform Moodle can be.

In this case, a Houghton College writing professor noticed a gap in the relationships between students at the College’s main campus and those at a satellite campus in Buffalo. She pioneered a pen pal program between the two groups that not only helps to improve students’ writing skills, it also provides an opportunity for them to break down social barriers.
