The nominations are open for the next Moodle Users Association committee membership and the nominated members will be selected by voting during the General Assembly Meeting which is scheduled to be held on June 23rd, from 1:30am to 3:00am UTC time.
The inaugural committee for the Moodle Users Association was nominated by Moodle HQ and as per the Rules of Association the future committee’s have to be elected through a nomination process.
In a recent announcement on the Moodle Users Association’s – General Association related Discussion forum, Nick Thompson – Current Chairperson of MUA posted about the commencement of the nominations process. You mayn’t be able to access the forum as it is open only for the MUA members.
So far, only 11 nominations are received for the position of 10 committee members. After the voting the successful candidates will then elect members from that group to the four officer positions i.e. chairperson, vice-chairperson, finance, secretary.
